Twice a year, ISPA (International Society for the Performing Arts) congresses bring together performing arts leaders. More than 500 leaders from more than 50 countries representing different genres and disciplines within the performing arts field. Programming is geared toward both established and emerging leaders in the performing arts. The congress attendees include presenters, festivals, producing companies, artist managers, consultants and government cultural leaders.
The current congress takes place on January 9–11 in New York City. The theme of the congress is Balancing Acts: Art, Community, and Leadership.
Right after – January 12–16 – ISPA APAP|NYC conference takes place, also in New York City. It's the world's premier gathering of the performing arts presenting industry and the annual members' conference of APAP, the Association of Performing Arts Professionals. The world's largest performing arts marketplace is joined by more than 3,600 industry professionals from all over US and more than 36 countries worldwide.
Estonian Voices and Curly Strings from Estonia will also perform in one of the showcases.
