Estonian artists at BUSH
Erki Pärnoja will mesmerize the audience of BUSH on Thursday, November 15 at 20:50–21:30 at klub Instant.
Estonian songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Erki Pärnoja heads for the hills with his two solo albums “Himmelbjerget“ (2015) and “Efterglow“ (2017).
Well known for his work as guitarist in the Estonian art-pop group Ewert and The Two Dragons he now reveals a diverse and more alternative side of himself as a frontman and songwriter. Ethereal grieving synthesizer sounds that blend with a distinctive cutting guitar sound, drowned in shimmering reverb.
Frankie Animal will move your feet and soul on Friday, November 16 at 22:30–23:10 at club Frame.
At its core a three-piece band from Estonia, the groups’ sound is largely dictated by the element of “girls versus boys”. It’s a battle between the singer Marie’s smokey yet tender vocal melodies and the shimmering guitar lines and haunting bass riffs of the two boys.
It’s a clash of feminine and masculine while maintaining a sense of self-irony.
Budapest Showcase Hub is a showcase festival and a conference focusing on the Eastern European region.
