Tölpt will start her position at Music Estonia on the 7th of September. Virgo Sillamaa, the current Director of Music Estonia, is moving to Belgium, where he will continue his work with European Music Exporters Exchange.
Music Estonia’s next Director Ave Tölpt is currently the CEO of Jazz Estonia, where she has been responsible for the management of the organisation, team building and both local and international representation. Among other things, she contributes to the field of music as an author and radio host for Estonian Public Broadcasting, Classical Radio, as well as a freelance music journalist. In addition, Tölpt has successfully led various projects in the cultural sector, such as various cooperation projects in the National Library of Estonia as Head of the Exhibition Department and the oldest Estonian jazz festival Student Jazz. Recently she took part in the exchange project of Europe Jazz Network. She is also the first Estonian Ambassador for Keychange, a global network and movement working towards gender equality in the music industry.

Virgo Sillamaa will continue his duties as the Director of Music Estonia until the beginning of September.
