This year Tallinn Music Week offers more diverse and curated networking opportunities than ever before. Depending on your experience and focus you can choose between speed meetings, matchmaking and short thematic mentoring sessions – whichever format suits you best.
Networking events at TMW 2017
March 31 - April 1, 2017
To assure the best possible results, we have designed an application process where you can let us know what and whom you are looking for. Our team will work rigorously to organise the best matches to as many applicants as possible.
Please bear in mind that as the number of applicants will outnumber available spaces, a place in speed meetings, matchmaking or mentoring is not guaranteed by applying. The selection will be based on 1) matching profiles; 2) order of application. This means – those that apply first are more likely to get a place, but only if your profile is relevant to the session.
If you are interested then please APPLY HERE
TMW 2017 has three kinds of networking opportunities:
1) Speed meetings – based on your profile (hence Meet the festivals, venues, agents etc).
2) Matchmaking – meetings between applicants based on their profiles and stated preferences. We sort the applications and do our best to match applicants to each other.
3) Mentoring sessions – a session of 25-30 mins with up to 5 participants + 1 mentor. If you haven’t done speed meetings before and you’re not entirely sure how to pitch and to whom, this is valuable. The session will give you a chance to pitch, hear pitches from fellow participants and will give you time for a Q&A and feedback from the mentor.
NB! All networking sessions require you to go through application process! APPLY HERE
In addition, all participants that have been confirmed to sessions, need to come 15 min earlier to sign in to a session (there is a registering table in the entrance of both rooms Sirius and Vega) – this is so we are confirmed that you are there and participating. If you haven’t signed in prior to the session, we consider this as a canceling and might offer the slot to someone else present and interested.
